California Road Trip

Eric and I drove to California at different times. My Mom and sister made the trip with me. Rita rode in the U-Haul with Eric, and his parents followed behind him in the Prius. We made it in one piece. Here are a few pictures from the road trip to Palo Alto.

Starting the blog...

Since this is the first post on our blog, I thought I would give some background history...

First, Eric and I got married on May 30th. Yeah! We had the time of our lives at our wedding! We loved seeing all of our family and friends there.

Then, we left for Riviera Maya on May 31st for our honeymoon. We had so much fun in Mexico. We relaxed and ate a lot of food. We also went to the spa, which was Eric's first massage. One day we went to Tulum, one of the ancient Mayan ruins. It was beautiful! (See post for pictures.)

When we returned from the honeymoon, we packed the U-Haul for Palo Alto, CA. Then, Eric drove all the way to CA with Rita (our cat) in the U-Haul. I left two weeks later with my Mom and sister (see post for pictures of our road trip).

So, here we are in Palo Alto, CA for Eric's residency at Stanford University. We will be here for at least 6 years so there should be a lot to blog about. I hope everyone enjoys hearing about our adventures in California!
